Spring into St. Michaels

Spring has sprung - or has it? Lately the weather has felt more like summer than spring, but there are no complaints here at Maritime Properties. Warm weather means more access to the fun activities we love the most! Boating, fishing, kayaking and strolling through downtown St. Michaels (and don't forget the ice cream) are some of the things that we love to do.

If you are planning a trip to St. Michaels this Spring or Summer, there are a few things you don't want to miss. First, the history and the heritage - go to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and get a map for the historic walking tour of St. Michaels. Second, the food is worth the visit. From casual steamed crabs at the local crab house to gourmet dining in a waterfront restaurant, this region is brimming with great cuisine. This great food is complimented by a local winery (the St. Michaels Winery) and a brewery (Eastern Shore Brewing Company) that offer samples and tours. Last but not least, if you have a taste for unique home decor, great clothes, fine jewelry, art, antiques or all of the above, you will find it in St. Michaels. The shopping is exquisite.

Top it all off with a beautiful, waterfront vacation rental from Maritime Properties and it all adds up to a great family vacation or romantic getaway. Enjoy!
